I haven't blogged much lately. I guess I've been doing other things. But many events have happened in the past 2 years since I last wrote here. The biggest is that I've retired from my day job which gives me more than enough time to work as a model. Which brings me to the second event. I've recently been employed by the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Atlanta. So far I've worked as much as I want and need and it is opening up so many other opportunities for modeling. I recently posed at "Art at Joe's"- an animation sketch group. I'm still in the rotation at the Atlanta Artist Center in Buckhead and I have several other leads to keep me busy. As far as photography work goes, I'm working on a conceptual art project...more to come soon.

Cook! Where's my hasenpfeffer?
I definitely felt the Bugs Bunny reference will posing for the latest artist workshop conducted by Marc Chatov. Marc wanted a Falstaff character for this posing and I think I did pretty well. This is the second time I've posed for Marc - gladiator and now Renaissance character. I had to miss the first night - Ala Prima session - and missed an opportunity of modeling undraped. Maybe next time. Marc indicated he will definitely work with me again.

Art Award Winning Portrait
I love it when I can help out an artist. I posed for an art group and one of the results won an art award. I must be doing something right.

I love being a Guinea pig...
My favorite photographer, Amy Maddox, asked me to be her Guinea pig for some new location shots as well as working on different lenses and angles. I love the way these came out and I get to work with her for free. Lots of comments on these three.
Project - Third installment...
Third set of project images. I'm pretty pleased with the outcome. I can see the weight loss a bit and actually have lost about 25 pounds from the first to the last image of each set. I'll wait for another month, about 10 pounds lighter to get the fourth session in.

What I Love to Do...
This is what I love to do. The past 5 weeks I've been posing for a artists workshop in Atlanta run by a renowned artist named Marc Chatov. I'm working hard but having a blast. I wish it would last longer. Great artists and the pay is not too bad. Hopefully it will open up other opportunities in the future.

SWM Photography Shoot...
Had a great shoot in Richmond with Scott Medina of SWM Photography. Wasn't sure if traveling over 500 miles for a TFP shoot would be worth it but the results were more than what I expected. To get a chance to work with a talented and accomplished photographer, I'd do it again. There are a couple of possibilities coming up this fall in NY and FL that I'm going to try to work out. Things are looking up.

...and Sometimes It's More!
Lady Bracknell: Do you smoke?
Earnest: Well, yes, I must admit I smoke.
Lady Bracknell: I am glad to hear it. A man should always have an occupation of some kind."
Oscar Wilde - The Importance of Being Earnest
Another nice set from Amy Maddox.
