I love being a Guinea pig...

My favorite photographer, Amy Maddox, asked me to be her Guinea pig  for some  new location shots as well as working on different lenses and angles.  I love the way these came out and I get to work with her for free.  Lots of comments on these three.

Project - Third installment...

Third set of project images.  I'm pretty pleased with the outcome.  I can see the weight loss a bit and actually have lost about 25 pounds from the first to the last image of each set.  I'll wait for another month, about 10 pounds lighter to get the fourth session in. 

Project - Second Installment...

Dropped 8 pounds from the top to bottom photos.  Not sure if you can tell any weight loss since it would be quite subtle at this point.  Next session will be at the end of July which I hope to have an additional 10 pounds gone.  Not too bad so far.

SWM Photography Shoot...

 

Had a great shoot in  Richmond with Scott Medina of SWM Photography.  Wasn't sure if traveling over 500 miles for a TFP shoot would be worth it but the results were more than what I expected.  To get a chance to work with a talented and accomplished photographer, I'd do it again.  There are a couple of possibilities coming up this fall in NY and FL that I'm going to try to work out.  Things are looking up.

Here are the last two images from my Savannah session.  Each shoot I do I find that I learn more and more about modeling and photographer's expectations.  I hope I'm getting better.

Two more from LizardEye...

I typically don't like color images of myself.  But these two just seemed to lend themselves to keep color and not show them in B&W,.  It was a very productive shoot for me.  I learned much about how to prepare for a shoot, I wasn't, especially with a photographer who doesn't have a lot of experience shooting nudes.  But some fine images were created, in my opinion.

Just keep on working...

For some reason I love this shot.  I'm not sure why but maybe because it's kind of a body scape and it's a bit different from what I've done.  I'm finding the more I work the more comfortable I get in front of the camera and the more I want to experiment.  I just finished a shoot Monday the second in my project series and I have a time-for-print shoot out of town this weekend which I'm very much looking forward to.  And there's a possible shoot with another model coming, and... I've got a life art posing job for a summer workshop with a very famous artist coming up through June and July.  Just keep on working...

Working with quality artists...

It's such a pleasure to be able to work with quality photographers.  I got to do a shoot with Elizabeth Osterberger of Lizard Eye Photo in Savannah and was very pleased with the outcome.  Here's one of the images.

Not my favorite. Lots of work needs to be done for this one.  Although the photo probably would show the weight loss progression best of all the ones that were taken.  This one will be interesting to follow.

the Symposium...

Finally got a copy of a photo from the shoot in Atlanta with Thomas Dodd.  I was very surprised at how beautiful it turned out.  Everyone who has made comments say how much it resembles the old Masters.  When Thomas was discussing the shoot with me  he said he was trying to create that style in photograph.  Thomas said at some point he will be getting back with me to do more.  I sure hope that happens.  It was such a wonderful experience.
