...and Sometimes It's More!

Lady Bracknell:  Do you smoke?

Earnest:  Well, yes, I must admit I smoke.

Lady Bracknell:  I am glad to hear it. A man should always have an occupation of some kind."

Oscar Wilde - The Importance of Being Earnest

Another nice set from Amy Maddox.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar...

"I drink a great deal. I sleep a little, and I smoke cigar after cigar. That is why I am in two-hundred-percent form" – Winston Churchill

A couple of my new favorites from my favorite photographer, Amy Maddox of Macon.

Last images...

Here are the last two images from my Savannah session.  Each shoot I do I find that I learn more and more about modeling and photographer's expectations.  I hope I'm getting better.

Two more from LizardEye...

I typically don't like color images of myself.  But these two just seemed to lend themselves to keep color and not show them in B&W,.  It was a very productive shoot for me.  I learned much about how to prepare for a shoot, I wasn't, especially with a photographer who doesn't have a lot of experience shooting nudes.  But some fine images were created, in my opinion.

Just keep on working...

For some reason I love this shot.  I'm not sure why but maybe because it's kind of a body scape and it's a bit different from what I've done.  I'm finding the more I work the more comfortable I get in front of the camera and the more I want to experiment.  I just finished a shoot Monday the second in my project series and I have a time-for-print shoot out of town this weekend which I'm very much looking forward to.  And there's a possible shoot with another model coming, and... I've got a life art posing job for a summer workshop with a very famous artist coming up through June and July.  Just keep on working...

Working with quality artists...

It's such a pleasure to be able to work with quality photographers.  I got to do a shoot with Elizabeth Osterberger of Lizard Eye Photo in Savannah and was very pleased with the outcome.  Here's one of the images.

The Appeal...

The appeal to posing nude is you don't have to worry about what to wear...

Saturday in Savannah...

Had a great shoot in Savannah this Saturday with Elizabeth H. R. Osterberger from Lizardeye Photo.  She had a vision and I hope I was able to follow her direction.  There are many bodyscapes that were taken.  The above is not from the shoot.  It's from my last shoot with Artistic Male.  Hope Elizabeth's shots will be up soon.

Durham shoot...

Two of the shots that I like the most from my Durham shoot on February 25.  During the shoot I realized that I've got a lot to learn about posing.  When I work with Amy locally we have a good relationship and work together on poses very well.  At Durham I was working with a photographer I was very unfamiliar with and wasn't sure what he wanted.  I need to be more prepared and confident in posing and not rely so much on the photographer letting the session "happen".  I'll get better.
